I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
